Pretty in Pink Homemade Salt Scrub

What is it about the color pink that is so cheerful? It makes you feel happy and pretty just by looking at it. Nature has wrapped itself in the color pink.   • 8 oz pure pink Himalayan salt
  • 2 oz coconut oil
  • 1 oz sweet almond oil
  • 10 drops rose geranium essential oil
  • 5 drops pink grapefruit essential oil
  • 5 drops ylang ylang essential oil
  • Dried rose petals


  • Place coconut oil into small glass jar. Microwave in 20 second intervals until softened.
  • Stir in the salt, almond oil, and essential oils.
  • Mix well to combine.
  • Place dried rose petals on top of mix and stir in if desired (looks prettier if left on top if gifting).

To use:

Place a small amount in hands and rub in circular motions on the body. Focus on rough spots like elbows, knees, and heels. Let sit for 2 minutes, then rinse in a warm bath. Soaking in the bath for a few minutes following the scrub will give the best results, as it combines the exfoliation with a detoxifying bath. Store leftovers in the fridge for several months.
