NO Synthetic Detergent
Today there are very few true soaps on the market. Most body cleansers, both liquid and solid, are actually synthetic detergent product. It is easy to figure this out by just checking the ingredients of your soap
NO Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)
An average bar of soap in your local store could contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), or/and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), that can become contaminated with the suspected carcinogen Dioxane while being manufactured
NO Triclosan
If it’s labeled as antibacterial it probably contains triclosan. This chemical is classified as a pesticide by the Environmental Protection Agency. It is also contributing to increasing bacterial resistance across the world
Expensive on long run
Commercial Soaps make your skin strip its natural defense making it necessary for you to use additional body lotion and conditioning products. The soap itself may be less expensive but it requires usage of other products to make it effective

Cold Processed
Low temperature process to preserve the efficacy of the ingredients. The cold process soap making method creates gentle soaps that cured over 6 weeks produces a long-lasting bar with ultimate moisturization
Aging is the key in our soap making process. It is like an aged wine, the longer you keep our soaps it will get harder and longer lasting and creates gentle soaps on your skin. The soap continues to age even at your home

60 days minimum
Natural Glycerin
Glycerin is a natural by-product of cold process soap making. Unfortunately store bought non cold process soaps need to add Glycerin as an additive as they are making a just making a chemical concoction to clean at a cheaper price

Added separately
All Natural
One of the easiest check any consumer can do yet it is the most overlooked. Just flip over the package and read the ingredient list. The ingredients that we use are all natural ingredients in natural form. Compare with your store bought soap
NO Chemical Dye used
We do not use any additional preservatives or any harmful chemicals. The colors are either from natural ingredients like coffee, charcoal, clay or we use micas and oxides for more vibrant colors. All our micas and oxides are also food grade

How do we make our Bamboo Charcoal, Himalayan Pink Salt Bar

How to transition and getting used to Natural Soap

  1. It takes time for your body to transition from store bought soaps to natural soaps if you haven’t been used to them. Use body lotions after shower for the first week and then you can slowly reduce and stop the use of body lotions after shower
  2. If you find that your lather is turning into a sticky slime and is not washing off or the fragrance changes while taking shower means that your skin is very acidic. It happens if you are using some medication or have applied any topical creams (typically medicated) or have excessive oil build up on the skin. To avoid this situation rise well with water before applying soap
  3. Rinse well with water and keep your skin moist before lathering up with the soap
  4. If it is an exfoliating soap then be careful not to use it at sensitive spots
  5. You can also lather it up in hand and then apply the lather on your body or face
  6. Use a soap saver and keep the soap in dry and cold place when not in use
